7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2025
Cena. Rock. Cody. A stunning close to a solid show. Jade returns, Liv shines in women's chamber.

WOW.
It’s extremely difficult to adequately describe what happened at the conclusion of WWE Elimination Chamber on Saturday night without underselling the magnitude of the moment. Triple H and The Rock collectively promised a bold, disruptive, industry-changing event - and for once, the hype matched reality.
John Cena did the unthinkable, turning heel on Cody Rhodes and joining forces with The Rock after Cody refused to “sell his soul” and become the Final Boss’ champion. Cena, Rock, and rapper Travis Scott proceeded to obliterate Rhodes as the PLE closed out, leaving the Undisputed WWE Champion in a bloody heap and dramatically altering the landscape of the company.
Elimination Chamber itself as an event was a four-match show that unquestionably delivered with both of its signature matches and somewhat fumbled the two others. However, nothing on this show was actively bad – save for one announcer. Some of the negatives noted below are more of a feeling or personal view than something that will be universally panned. Your mileage might vary.
Saturday’s show also featured a huge return to kick off the women’s chamber match, with Jade Cargill showing up to get revenge on her attacker. And despite not emerging victorious, Liv Morgan had another really solid night in the ring, continuing her run of impressive performances.
But really, Elimination Chamber will forever be remembered for the final half-hour, and that moment will carry this show to the highest levels as time wears on.
Let’s get to it…
