7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Halloween Havoc 2021

2. Bron Breakker’s Performance

It's a huge compliment to Breakker that he didn't look out his depth against a seasoned veteran like Tommaso Ciampa. WWE can build around this guy eventually, no doubt. Bron has serious, serious potential, and he can be proud of his performance at Halloween Havoc.

Breakker botched a shoulder block attempt from the middle rope (he slipped), which was embarrassing, but he didn't let that phase him for too long. Steiner's kid had regained his confidence by the time he hit a sweet Frankensteiner, and Ciampa let him kick out of a hot segment that included a DDT on the concrete and his Fairytale Ending finish.

WWE loves Breakker, and that came across loud and clear.

Their faith isn't misplaced. He'll be really good if given time and the right opponents to work with - then, in theory, Bron will be able to trade NXT success for a top run on Raw or SmackDown. The fact he can brush off botches is a positive early sign too.
