7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Halloween Havoc 2021

1. NXT’s God Of War Rolls On

An NXT Title win would've come too early for Bron though.

Tommaso Ciampa, who dressed as Kratos from God Of War, held onto the brand's top prize by smashing Breakker with another Fairytale Ending. Keeping that belt on him is smart; USA Network likely want someone with star power and pedigree in the hot seat. Ciampa is perfect for that role.

NXT also needs someone with his experience at the top of the food chain right now. This is a delicate time for WWE's third show, and it might've been overkill to change every single title up for grabs on this midweek special anyway. Bron Breakker's time will come.

It'll be interesting to see if Breakker gets a rematch, or if NXT's creative team has somebody else in mind to challenge Ciampa. Positioning the champ as a cagey vet who constantly gets the better of youthful exuberance isn't a bad gig for him.
