7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE NXT 2.0: Halloween Havoc 2021

There was a deserved switch over in the Women's Tag-Team Title picture too.

Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne winning was the correct call. Being brutally honest, Io Shirai and Zoey Stark were a thrown-together unit anyway, and it never felt like Shirai was being used properly the longer she was joined at the hip to Zoey. Now, they can (hopefully) go their separate ways.

Havoc belonged to Toxic Attraction. OK, so the Dolin/Jayne tandem winning the tag belts kinda made it obvious what was coming next with Mandy Rose, but that's fine. This stable, unlike the aforementioned Diamond Mine, has been a credit to NXT 2.0 every week. They needed this kind of dominance.

Side note: This writer honestly has nothing against Diamond Mine. They just need a killer feud to make them relevant and a pressing concern. Compared to Toxic Attraction, they're more Nexus 2.0 than the original group, if that makes sense.
