2. This Still Isn’t All That Interesting

Going in, this fan hoped Michin would get some mic time to explain why she dislikes Chelsea Green so much and why she wants to wipe her Women's United States Title win from memory. Instead, WWE served up a decent match between Michin and Piper Niven that badly exposed the fundamental flaw with the former's presentation right now. In other words, it's difficult for people to care.

By all accounts, Michin is a positive person who's well-liked and a credit to the promotion behind the scenes, but there's something missing when she's in front of fans. Things rarely click the way everyone wishes they would. Being brutally honest about it, she and Chelsea have a job on their hands to justify this upcoming US Title rematch. Their whole feud peaked a while back and feels unnecessary going into the new year.

Creative has to take some of the blame for that. Michin's character hasn't been fleshed out very well, and most would agree Green deserved something bigger for her first title feud. Will they have a solid match once the bell sounds on the next Saturday Night's Main Event special or on TV? Absolutely, but then what? WWE don't even lean on the 'she's hardcore' persona they had going for a while.

That has vanished.

The biggest problem with Michin is that no part of her act sticks out as extraordinary right now. She's OK on the mic, excels in-ring without being as good as others in the division, and audiences don't really react whenever they see her. Either fix this by actually giving her some meaningful depth, or find someone else who'd click with Chelsea.
