7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Jan 22)

1. The Table Bump Ending

Reigns and Owens deliver every single time they're on screen together. They did so again at the tail end of SmackDown by working a fun brawl and flashy announce table bump spot. Both guys have chemistry, know their characters inside out and don't mind looking vulnerable when the time is right.

It'll be a shame when this feud ends, basically.

Seeing KO blast Reigns through the desk here was interesting, mainly because of the timing. WWE would typically book the pay-per-view loser to look strong on the 'go home' episode, not one week before, and so this came as a neat surprise. Also, Roman and Paul Heyman will now have to come up with more revenge after feeling so smug about tricking Adam Pearce.

Anyone whinging about this kind of booking needs a reality check. Yes, what constitutes good wrestling booking is subjective, but there's something magical going on between KO and the 'Tribal Chief' each and every Friday night. Drink it in.
