Downs...

4. Poor Follow Up

King Corbin Dominik Mysterio

Last week, 'King' Corbin used Dominik Mysterio's frustrations against him and used them to beat his father Rey. There was a worthy story in there of a son trying to do his best but ultimately costing his dad the chance of victory. That "worthy story" was washed away by the flushing toilet that was this week's booking.

Dom got hammered like some early-2000s jobber on Metal or Jakked.

Honestly, why? His matches with Seth Rollins last year were promising, and Dominik has shown that he's willing to put his body through the wringer to impress. He deserves a lot more than doing ye olde J.O.B in just a few minutes in 2021. This was a terrible decision, one that barely did Corbin any good anyway.

Also, where are Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake? Has their alliance with the 'King' been cancelled already? If so, that's so random. WWE didn't give those guys nearly enough time to show what they could do, and it seemed like a shrewd idea to give Corbin some backup.
