7 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Jan 22)

3. No Chance Of New Champs

Asuka Billie Kay The Riott Squad

Urgh.

Where to start with this one? The Riott Squad weren't even given a proper TV entrance, and WWE used their Women's Tag-Team Title shot as an excuse to further this Billie Kay nonsense that'll probs go nowhere in the long run. It's just not that entertaining.

Liv Morgan lost to Natalya last week too, so The Riotts didn't exactly come into this with any momentum to speak of. Being brutally honest, their crack at the belts should've meant way more. Liv and Ruby are one of the only full-time tags in the entire division, but you wouldn't know that watching SmackDown.

They were clearly second best to Charlotte Flair and Asuka from the opening bell, and there's now zero interest in seeing any kind of rematch. Remember this rubbish if WWE dare try to shove a repeat onto the Royal Rumble pre-show.
