7 Ups & 5 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 24)

3. New Directions

There were new directions for two Dark regulars this week, as Leva Bates and Shawn Spears forecasted their next moves in brief promo segments.

For Bates, this means moving on as the only 'Librarian' left in AEW, having dropped dead weight in the former of Peter Avalon. "Knowledge is power and brainy can be badass," she said, claiming it was time to write her own story in a simple, effective promo that got everything across it needed to.

Spears cut one of the better promos of his AEW run so far. Approached by Alex Marvez, and with Tully Blanchard by his side, he expressed no remorse for cheating his way past Scorpio Sky, saying that he'd learned how the dance really works and that it was his job to exploit weakness and expose it. Sky wasn't willing to follow him that far down and now, Spears considers their issue over. It's done. Scorp should move on.

It's hard to imagine Sky taking Spears' words at face value, so expect a follow-up soon.
