FTR and Santana and Ortiz's sitdown interview with Tony Schiavone felt like a fast-forwarded version of what it should have been.

Barely lasting enough time to brew a cup of tea, it brought the Fight For The Fallen match announcement, FTR's continued insistence that they aren't too different to Santana and Ortiz, and the Inner Circle duo proving, once more, that FTR's "rough upbringing" isn't their rough upbringing. This could have filled four or five minutes, with Santana and Ortiz cutting Cash and Dax down with cold, hard proof. Instead, we got a blink-and-you'll-miss-it skit.

The match will be hot as hell next week and AEW has already put considerable effort into building this storyline, but this felt undercooked and underserved nonetheless. It deserved more.
