7 Ups & 5 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 26)

4. Replacing Santana Is...

With LAX's Santana out on the shelf after hurting himself during Slammiversary's World Tag Team Championships, Konnan took it upon himself to find a temporary replacement to tag with Ortiz. And it is... Daga?

While he may be a huge name in the independent promotions where he currently wrestles, he's a bit of an odd choice to bring in here. Seeing as it's likely only for one or two matches before this incarnation of LAX reportedly departs the company, it perhaps would have made more sense to bring in one of the original members, someone like a Homicide or a Hernandez.

There's nothing wrong with Daga so to speak, but he just feels like an odd choice for replacing Santana in the tandem. Let's see how well he does when teaming with Ortiz.
