4. New Champ Goads Ex-Champ Into Losing Prospect

The minute the announcers started talking about cancelling Bobby Lashley’s planned title defense against Seth Rollins while waiting for medical help due to his injury, you knew something was going down.

Sure enough, Rollins came out and taunted a conflicted and injured Lashley into wrestling him, succeeding in getting the title match he wanted with a wounded opponent. The age-old “heel taunts a wounded babyface” angle works for a reason, and this was one of them. It’s very easy to take a shot at Lashley for foolishly accepting the challenge, but you’ve got to give it up to Rollins for getting what he wanted.

From that perspective, this was a victory for Rollins just being a jerk and coaxing a match he had no right to receive.
