7 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2017

Braun Strowman Triple H

After spending 33 minutes pummelling their audience with an unrelenting torrent of bulls*** during the night's main event, WWE closed Survivor Series on a satisfying note: Braun Strowman battering Triple H into oblivion.

'The Monster's' motivations didn't make much sense ('The Game' just won Team Raw the match, but Braun reacted like they'd lost), but it didn't matter. Having watched Triple H unapologetically steal the spotlight from several younger, more popular full-time roster members, seeing him fall to Strowman's two running powerslams was immensely satisfying, and ensured Survivor Series closed on a high.

Make no mistake, the night belonged to Triple H, but at least Braun had his moment. He's the most organic star in the company right now. The audience love him, and WWE would be nuts not to build WrestleMania 34 around him, but we all know they're heading towards Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar. Regardless, moments like this remind us how special he is.
