Bronson Reed has not exactly gotten a rocket push since returning to WWE, but he’s been handled well of late, winning his matches in impressive fashion and requiring four men to take him out of the Elimination Chamber.
Monday, Reed faced Chad Gable in a match that easily could have been a squash if not for Gable’s innate ability to make something out of every match. The Olympian made the brief match enjoyable with some surprising power moves keeping the Aussie off-balance, including a bridging German suplex.
But Otis got distracted by Maxxine Dupri, which then caused Gable to take his eye off Bronson, allowing Reed to squash him with a Tsunami. In that short match, they tied in Reed’s dominance, Gable’s in-ring prowess and the courtship of “O-teece” by Maximum Male Models. Simple, yet fun.
