Downs...

6. Same Seth, Different Week

'The Monday Night Messiah' is a spinning wheel of an act with little change from week-to-week, rarely stepping beyond established shtick, with evolution non-existent.

This is a polite way of saying Seth Rollins does the same bloody things every week.

It was the same again last night, with 'The Messiah' cutting a typical "greater good" promo before welcoming Dominick Mysterio to the ring for their confrontation. Dom was beaten down, because of course he was, before Aleister Black ran out for the save, leading to a hesitant Murphy pushing the Dutchman's eye down against the corner of the steps. The duo then went looking for Rey Jr. Jr. who blasted back with a kendo stuck, running the villains off with a furious assault.

So, here's the repetition counter:-

1. Seth's samey promo.

2. Aleister Black, who Rollins buried last week and has seemingly been feuding on and off with forever.

3. The eyeball stuff.

4. Rollins trying to recruit Dom into his cult on a show that had MVP use similar methods with Mustafa Ali.

Dominick was good here, showing great fire as he fought the villains, but Black looked like a weakling once more and Rollins never grows. This stuff is beyond stale.
