2. A Bad Horror Movie Villain

The Fiend Alexa Bliss

It’s official. We’ve now seen The Fiend devolve from an intriguing heel character into a one-dimensional horror B-movie villain.

Monday night saw Randy Orton “summon” the Fiend, only for Alexa Bliss to really call him out by using a Jack-in-the-box. Fiend, still sporting his charred clothes and mask, appeared in the ring and the proceeded to allow Orton to douse him in gasoline. Because bad horror movie villains never move under normal circumstances, just when the plot dictates that they should.

And Orton hit an RKO on Fiend – because burning a man alive doesn’t kill him, but an RKO will lay him out for a solid minute. In the end, Randy got laid out with a Mandible Claw and Sister Abigail, and Bliss pointed at the WrestleMania sign… because we needed to drill home that this is going to happen no matter what.
