2. Jey Uso, Defender of Sami Zayn

Whether it was part of a master plan by the Bloodline or just happy happenstance, having Jey Uso be the one to save Sami Zayn from ex-communication from the group was perfect.

Jey had been the lone holdout on accepting Sami as an affiliate of the Bloodline for the longest time, up until Zayn turned on Kevin Owens at Survivor Series. So it was appropriate that he was Sami’s lone defender Monday night when the rest of the tribe was about to turn on him and cast him out.

But don’t think for one second that this is some big kumbaya moment. Sami is still useful to the Bloodline, as he proved to the Usos in the next segment. At some point soon, that usefulness will wear off, and Jey will likely be one of the first to turn on him. Pulling Zayn close now is just a ruse.
