There's so much to love about Evolution Vs The Rock & Sock Connection that a mere 'Up' understates its sheer Sports Entertainment supremacy.

Built around the fabulous tension between Randy Orton and Mick Foley, it's left to the supporting players to steal the show. 'The Great One' and 'The Nature Boy' contest a dream match on their own terms, aping poses and bouncing around like buffoons for the joy of popping each other and sending the Madison Square Garden crowd loopy.

Surrounded by stars, Batista looks like one for the first time in his career, not least with two bonafide legends selling for him. Randy's victory kept his story with the 'Hardcore Legend' ticking over to the following month's powerful Backlash payoff too - even from an administrative point of view this clash was an unqualified success.
