4. Gable Gets Another Showcase

It would be easy to just outright criticize WWE for booking Chad Gable to lose once again, but the guy has gotten decent promo and ring time the past couple of weeks, so we’re not going to knock it.

Gable battled WWE Champion Big E, hanging with him and actually putting him on the defensive with an attack of the leg and some nice power, getting a rolling German suplex with a bridge at one point. In the end, he lost clean in the middle, but Gable still had a nice showing, and the aftermath might have set up Otis as a challenger for next week.

Here’s hoping that WWE, which is dialled in on Gable’s recent graduation with a master’s degree and a 4.0 GPA, doesn’t decide to go “Shorty Gable 2.0” on him and turn him into Master Chad or something, because that would completely torpedo this situation.
