7 Ups And 1 Down From NXT: The Great American Bash 2

Bask in its glory.

Fair play to NXT, if you're going to spend $25 dollars on some balloons and put the [1] man hour(s) into placing a sticker over an old tarpe, you might as well make the most of it. One Great American Bash simply wasn't enough last week so now, if you'd please be upstanding, welcome the Great American Bash 2: Electric Boogaloo, This Time It's Personal, The Phantom Menace.

Despite clearly not having enough TakeOver quality-feuds to justify the second night of Bashes, the prospect of this evening's main-event was worthy of the hype alone. For the first time in NXT history, we would crown a man as both NXT Champion and North American Champion.

I mean, probably. Unless there's a DQ, or the Undisputed Era run it, or the whole thing's just an elaborate set up of Karrion Kross to batter both men and "Make! A! Statement! Beth!".

Elsewhere we have the exciting culmination to the 4 matches that were somehow booked in as many minutes on last week's show. Mirror Universe Johnny and Candice take on Mia Yim and, for some reason, Isaiah Swerve Scott, Breezango get involved in the T̶u̶r̶f̶ ̶W̶a̶r̶ wrestling feud between Maverick and Escobar, and Mercedes Martinez is back. It's never dull here!
