7 Ups And 1 Downs From Last Night's NXT (18 March)

The very best, in a bad situation.

This is, without exception, the most unprecedented time in WWE history. There's a simple reason for that of course, it just happens to also be one of the most unprecedented times in world history as well. But you've clicked on a wrestling article, there are not the hours in the day to unpack all the rest of it.

WrestleMania is coming from an empty room across two nights, nobody's really sure what's happening with TakeOver, and even NXT tonight didn't feature a single piece of original in-ring content. Still though, times like this tend to bring out the best in people and, all things considered, this was a really great show.

No there was no Full Sail, no there was no Full Sail Crowd, no there was no Mauro, or Nigel, or Beth, and no there was no actual wrestling of the sort we tune in every single week for. But this was still NXT, and it was still unmissable, engrossing, pro-wrestling theater.
