Typically, WWE announcers overdo things or tend to hammer home the obvious, so when they actually don’t, we almost have to give kudos as positive reinforcement.

Monday, Seth Rollins received a beating from Brock Lesnar and did a stretcher job. This seemed fair when you consider the number of chair shots (about 10), German suplexes (two) and F-5s (one). (However, Shane McMahon would have walked off under his own power.)

As Rollins was being loaded into the ambulance, Becky Lynch, Rollins’ real-life girlfriend who has been acknowledged as such on TV, walked alongside the stretcher and climbed into the ambulance. No one mentioned her as she was on screen, just letting that hang out there.

When they came back to the announcers, they noted that it was difficult to move on, but they did, staying somber as they threw to the pre-taped Firefly Funhouse.
