7 Ups And 10 Downs From WWE Survivor Series 2015

Ups...

7. Star-Spangled Kickoff

This weekend, word leaked that terrorist group ISIS was potentially targeting Atlanta€™s Phillips Arena, home of Survivor Series, for an attack. The FBI said it was taking the threat seriously, but WWE also said it was moving ahead with the event. Knowing Vince McMahon and how much he loves to show off his patriotism, you had to wonder what WWE would do to make some public show of American strength. Maybe Roman Reigns would come to the ring waving the American flag. Instead of some overblown display or video package, we instead were treated to Lilian Garcia belting out the Star-Spangled Banner at the start of the PPV. Garcia is a phenomenal singer, and she didn€™t disappoint. Given the options, this was a simple, effective way to convey patriotism in the face of a threatened attack.
