What’s not to like about the NXT Tag Team Championship match between War Raiders and Ricochet & Aleister Black?

The bout featured a game of “Can you top this?” between the two teams, with Hanson and Ricochet trading high-flying moves – at one point, Ricochet’s handspring back elbow missed, only for Hanson’s to connect – and everyone going 100kph with knee strikes, dives and slams.

Despite it being their NXT swansong, Ricochet & Black came close enough that no one would have been surprised if the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winners pulled it off. But it wasn’t to be, and there was no shame in the challengers losing, as they had clearly been in a war.

Watch this match and try to find a point where they downshifted into second gear.
