NXT overall has done a good job at following a formula when it comes to building up a superstar to the point that they break through and become a champion and/or ultimately get called up to the main roster. Weve seen this with people like Seth Rollins, Paige, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and others.

But one NXT performer who seems to be in a different spot is Nia Jax, who has lost Womens Championship title shots at two of the last three TakeOver specials. She is physically imposing and is billed as being near-indestructible, yet Bayley and Asuka have both figured out how to defeat her already. (Not saying its easy, but still.)

This doesnt mean Nia is being mishandled in any way. But what you dont want to see is her career stagnate. You dont want to see her being billed as a monster who cant quite win the big match and is constantly slayed. There isnt a reason to panic by any means, but its worth pointing out.
