7 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE Raw (13 March - Review)

4. Judgment Day Continues To Fire On All Cylinders

The Judgment Day

It might sound clichéd to make the overused car engine analogy for the Judgment Day, but really, what else can you do about this purple-clad gang?

The group is hitting its collective stride at the optimum time, with three of its four members on course for marquee matches at WrestleMania, and they’re one of the most entertaining parts of Raw each week. They’re so good right now that they went to SmackDown last week to class up the blue brand.

The tag match against Johnny Gargano & Dexter Lumis was fine for what it was, but it was there more to continue reminding you how despicable Dominik Mysterio is. It wasn’t an accident that just three days after he told his dad Rey that he wished that Eddie Guerrero was his father, ex-con Dom quickly hit a slingshot senton, did the La Raza fire up and nailed the triple vertical suplexes, all in succession. Aping the man who he says should have been his father is a nice touch as this continues to build.

It'll be fun to see where the Judgment Day goes next in their little reign of terror on Raw and SmackDown before Mania.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
