7 Ups And 4 Downs From WWE Raw (13 March - Review)

5. Reed Still Impressive

Roster depth is a hell of a thing. When you actually have enough wrestlers, you can push certain ones over the course of several weeks without having them defeat the same superstars repeatedly… or worse, go 50/50.

Witness Bronson Reed, who’s continued to make his way through the undercard of the Raw roster. Monday night, he demolished Elias, running over him and then squashing him with a Tsunami splash. It’s a very simple formula that works more often than not: Give a guy with an impressive moveset the opportunity to display that arsenal and give him convincing wins over established superstars.

Reed might not have anything to do at WrestleMania (unless the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is coming back), but he’s poised to make a strong push after the big show.

Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
