Ups...

7. Setting Up Angle

It would be easy to blast WWE for having Olympic hero and Raw GM Kurt Angle turn into a sniveling bureaucrat who lied about lying to save his job, but one punch changed all that.

Angle warned Ronda Rousey that he needed to keep his job, so he lied by saying he lied the previous night about what Stephanie McMahon and Triple H said about her. Fans in attendance rightly booed him for compromising his integrity (hey, one of the three “I’s!”), but a few minutes later, Triple H sucker-punched Kurt, leaving the GM visibly pissed as he stirred.

Things seem to be setting up for Helmsley and McMahon to push Angle around, leading to he and Rousey standing up against the WWE power couple and fighting them at WrestleMania. It would be a perfect way for Kurt to show some spine and to get revenge for Triple H’s attack at Survivor Series last year.

While it isn’t ideal, it’s at least setting the table for something.
