7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 15)

3. Revival Gets Promo Time

After a couple abrupt halts, it looks like The Revival is finally chugging along again.

The duo picked up a quick squash win over two jobbers – just like back in the day! – and then cut a promo about being tag team throwbacks. It got a little dicey when they talked about old school and dismissed D-Generation X and Steve Austin, but they nailed it when they declared that they weren’t corporate-created sports entertainers, but professional wrestlers who were students of the game.

Hopefully, this is the start of The Revival’s ascension in the tag division, which is long overdue. With a little (ok, a lot of) luck, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder could be Shatter Machining their way to the top.
