7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 15)
2. Fired/Rehired
Does anyone actually think on the writing staff? Who’s bright idea was it to have Braun Strowman get fired and then wreak havoc until management relents and rehires him?
There’s bullying to get your way, but come on.
This entire scenario could’ve been handled a lot differently, maybe with Braun being removed from the Royal Rumble title match and going on a rampage (although maybe not as extended). But the idea of firing Braun at the top of the show and then he just wanders around backstage destroying stuff and attacking people until he gets his job back? (Especially considering that he was fired because he was a workplace liability.)
It wasn’t just implausible, it was ridiculous. At least Corey Graves called it out, saying it was a huge mistake to rehire Strowman.
