7 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Sept 18)

1. Brock, Braun Sell Themselves

When it announced that they would simply do a backstage interview with Michael Cole asking questions, it felt like this could be painfully boring.

Instead it was anything but, as Brock got into the moment and actually thanked Strowman for backing him into a corner and challenging him, so that he comes out swinging on Sunday. But Monday, both men (and Paul Heyman) expressed some concern for the carnage, but also felt like it was inevitable given everything that had happened to that point.

Strowman especially was convincing, cutting Heyman off a couple times and keeping a deadly glare the entire segment. He clearly was relishing playing the hunter, while Lesnar did a nice job of playing the wounded prey. They two men could lay waste to everything in their paths, and they’ll be in each other’s sights on Sunday.

This is a can’t-miss match.
