7 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Beast In The East

4. Forearm Of Doom

Years ago, Lex Luger turned a motorcycle accident into a gimmick where he would hit his opponents with a forearm smash that would knock them out due to the €œmetal plate€ in his arm. The loaded forearm became a precursor to the Torture Rack and helped Luger win many big matches. Unless there€™s a backstory that has been overlooked, Nikki Bella has no such plate, yet a single forearm smash was enough to knock Tamina silly for the pin Saturday. It makes little to no sense, especially after Nikki kicked out of Paige€™s RamPaige DDT, that a simple forearm was enough to get the win. As a setup move, it€™s fine, but as it turned out, the ending came out of nowhere. Also, and this bears repeating every time, Nikki Bella is a heel (allegedly). A triple threat was the perfect platform for Nikki to steal a pinfall and look like a villain. Instead, she won clean with a forearm. And WWE wonders why Divas matches are bathroom breaks and NXT women€™s bouts are must-see television.
