2. Road To 300
Memo to Michael Cole: Nikki Bella is not one of the great all-time Divas champions. Period. Even if youre separating the defunct Womens Championship, Nikki should never be considered an all-time great. The big problem is that Bella and the WWE is equating title reign length with greatness. Nikki is over 220 days, while the Divas Championship record is held by AJ Lee at just shy of 300 days, hence Bellas hashtag effort, #Roadto300. Simply put, the longer you hold a title does not make you a better champion. How many people consider JBL one of the all-time great world champions (besides Bradshaw himself)? A lengthy title reign is an indicator of a successful champ, but putting on entertaining matches, having memorable feuds and getting fans invested in you is how to truly measure greatness. Whether WWE is hellbent on Bella breaking AJs title reign record, fans are not going to consider Nikki an all-time great based on how long shes held the title.
