Hats off to both women for their awesome main event Wednesday night, but Bayley was the story of the night, adapting her personality as she ramped up her intensity. Its been a slow climb for the goofy, lovable wrestler, as shes gone from being a fangirl to NXT Womens Champion. During the course of their match, Bayley and Sasha Banks include a couple callbacks to their epic struggle at TakeOver: Brooklyn, most notably Bayley repaying Sasha for assaulting her broken hand (Bayley tried to break Sashas hand during the match) and Banks blocking Bayleys attempted top roe reverse hurricanrana and landing on her feet and hitting a Bayley-to-Belly for a near fall. Bayley also got downright mean with her submission move, bending Sashas finger back as far as possible while kicking her in the head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_PHjGBAAdQ All of this made perfect sense in the normal progression of Bayleys character development, and she definitely earned even more respect from fans who were waiting to see her break out, and from wrestlers who underestimated her.
