7 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (April 27)

6. Profits, Raiders Make A Match

Remember when wrestlers just used to issue a challenge for a title because they seemingly had their opponents’ number?

Pepperidge Farm remembers… and so do the Viking Raiders and Street Profits.

The Raiders called out the fact that the Raw Tag Team Champions have never beaten them, and the Profits only ascended to the mountaintop of the NXT and Raw tag divisions after the Raiders were out of the way – relinquishing the NXT tag straps and losing the Raw titles and being unable to challenge for them again.

The Profits started to make jokes in a rebuttal promo, but quickly got serious and acknowledged that their challengers were right, but they wanted to prove them wrong by accepting the match.

It was a pretty simple, straightforward way to make a match, and hopefully it rises to the occasion.
