After giving an ominous warning about settling a score, you knew it was only a matter of time before Seth Rollins and AOP found their target and made him pay.

Sure enough, Rey Mysterio was the victim here for helping Kevin Owens out last week. AOP beat him down a bit before Rollins called them off, declaring he was a merciful leader. Then he spun back around and delivered a stomp to put Rey down.

To punctuate everything, Rollins challenged Mysterio to a United States Championship match next week, which Rey accepted. So now we’ve got something to look forward to next Monday, and it’s a first-time ever match that has a backstory and is advertised in advance. Not too shabby there.
