1. Rollins Preemptively Begs Forgiveness

You know what great, self-righteous heels do really well? Apologize for doing something unpopular – and likely wrong.

Seth Rollins’ Messiah complex was on full display during the opening segment of Raw as he talked about how he was regarded as the future of WWE, how he defeated Brock Lesnar twice in one year, how people turned their backs on him and how he was a leader who did things not because they were cool, but because they were best for progress.

He used that excuse to explain why he and AOP made an example of Kevin Owens last week, and then he called himself a leader and visionary.

Then came the warning. Rollins declared that he had a score to settle Monday night, and that fans weren’t going to like it. He then apologized for what was to come, hopping out of the ring and subtly washing his hands of what he and AOP were about to do.

Now that was the kind of promo he needed to deliver after last week’s turn.
