Sometimes the fun of re-watching older matches is to listen to the commentary and seeing how things played out against those earlier remarks. Sometimes a person looks prescient; other times they look like an absolute fool.

The WWE Championship triple threat at the 2015 Royal Rumble featured a dominant Brock Lesnar defending his title against Seth Rollins and John Cena. It was an action-packed match, but buried in the middle of it was a nugget from JBL.

Rollins had hit a diving elbow drop to Lesnar, putting The Beast through an announce desk and taking him out of the match. This left Rollins and Cena to battle for the title while Brock recovered.

JBL noted that a triple threat match might be the only way that Lesnar could lose the title.

Now, there’s no way Bradshaw could have known this, but two months later, Lesnar would defend his WWE Championship at WrestleMania 31 against Roman Reigns, when Rollins would cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase mid-match, making it a triple threat.

And what happened? Rollins pinned Reigns for the title.

JBL spoiled WrestleMania! Don’t let him anywhere near the tapings this week!
