Last week, we gave passing marks – barely – to the Street Profits and Viking Raiders for their ax throwing competition. This week, however, the two tag teams bogeyed with a competition on the golf course.

Now turned into an “Anything you can do, we can do better” competition, complete with scoreboard, the friendly rivalry away from the wrestling ring hit its third week with some more forced comedy on the links and at a miniature golf course. The jokes were poor retreads of Happy Gilmore and weren’t funny.

Worse, we already know that there will be a fourth installment of this competition (bowling), while the Profits – who are still the Raw Tag Team Champions, fought MVP and Bobby Lashley on Raw Monday night.

It was understandable that they would do something a little different to try to spur some interest in this feud, but at some point, the tag champs need to get in the ring against their rivals. If they can make a title match for Backlash, then we’re getting somewhere, but the forced “comedy” makes it tougher to be patient.
