7 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Roadblock

3. NXT Represents

You have to believe that the Revival and Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady came into Roadblock with something to prove. As the representatives from NXT, the two teams had to show that WWE€™s developmental territory was putting out just as good of a product as anything WWE was serving up to fans.

And the foursome did not disappoint. Enzo & Cass looked great in clearing the ring of Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson early on, including an Air Enzo, and the Revival did a fantastic job of playing the old school heels who cheat and take shortcuts just enough to maintain control and still pull out the win. Throw in a killer finisher like that top rope Shatter Machine on Enzo and you have an impressive match overall.

The fans definitely responded in kind, chanting for NXT throughout and clearly were into the match as a whole. Hopefully WWE higher-ups were listening and realize that NXT is doing a lot right, and there€™s a lot of talent there that can succeed in WWE if given a real chance.
