7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Jan 23)

1. A Strong Finish

Go-home episodes of Raw can be awesome sometimes based alone on the fact that they are doing the hard sell of the upcoming PPV. When it’s done right, that hard sell results in a memorable moment for fans.

Cue Monday night, when we got to see something we’ve (most likely) never seen before: Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and Undertaker all in the ring at the same time. All three will be participating in the Royal Rumble, though it’s not guaranteed that all three (or any of them) will be in the match at the same time.

Still, it was really, really cool to see that, especially since Lesnar and Taker weren’t advertised for Raw. Only Goldberg was plugged during the program, leaving Brock and UT’s appearances as somewhat of surprises.

Who knows if any of those three will square off on Sunday, but WWE certainly got fans’ minds racing. Mission accomplished.
