7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct. 12)

1. RETRIBUTION MIA

Last week, RETRIBUTION had arguably its biggest moment since its inception: the group unveiled its leader, Mustafa Ali.

Monday night was the first opportunity for follow-up from this band of invaders and disrupters, and we got… NOTHING. RETRIBUTION was barely mentioned, aside from the group being drafted to Raw and a brief video recap from last week.

There are a ton of questions to be answered here, but rather than advancing the story, we got a big “pause” button. Sure, the draft complicated things a bit, but to not even have some announcement from RETRIBUTION that they’d show up next week and explain things was malfeasance of the highest order.

That should have been a layup: Ali could have simply sent a Tweet that Tom Phillips would have read on the show, saying that he will lay out the group’s manifesto next week. Just like that, you’ve followed up a bit and previewed next week’s Raw.
