7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 22)

5. Delaying The Inevitable?

Could this be why WWE didn€™t have Chris Jericho turn on AJ Styles after their match at Fastlane? On Raw, Jericho called out AJ to congratulate him in person and put him over as a guy who belongs in WWE and is championship material. Regardless about how much stock you put in what Y2J says about that, it still was a nice endorsement to have. Shortly after that, the Social Outcasts came to ringside, trying to sow seeds of discontent. Jericho brushed that aside and suggested that he and Styles team up (considering they were getting very loud dueling chants, fans were very much on board with that idea). So, could it be that WWE is going to have AJ and Y2J team up for a few weeks before Jericho€™s jealousy finally kicks in and he turns on him, setting up a *final* match between them at WrestleMania? Or will AJ go on to face Kevin Owens at Mania for the Intercontinental Championship? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ga0F-tlqtig Even if that doesn€™t come to fruition, it was still a nice moment with Jericho putting Styles over as legit. It€™s something that still can mean something if it€™s used properly.
