7 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Feb 22)

1. Taking It To The Streets

While on the one hand, Dean Ambrose versus Brock Lesnar sounds like a total mismatch that should be a foregone conclusion, it also has the potential to be a can€™t-miss affair. After all, a no holds barred, street fight between the Beast and the Lunatic Fringe sounds like the kind of match where anything not nailed down might get used as a weapon, including the timekeeper. Paul Heyman set the stage beautifully by talking about Brock getting retribution on Dean for taking him out of the world title match at WrestleMania and how Lesnar now needs a new opponent. Ambrose€™s €œcrazy like a fox€ act might wear thin at times, but it kinda works as he continues to march at Lesnar rather than fleeing or simply staying down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o1BtlUV-Dw In addition to being a good match, this bout could help boost Ambrose greatly if he pulls off the impossible. Consider that John Cena and Triple H have beaten Brock in street fights, and there€™s always a chance that Dean could upset the Beast. If that happens, this would be a major step forward for him. Taking Brock to the limit would be a good look too, but winning obviously would be much more valuable to him. If nothing else, the promos between Ambrose and Heyman should be fun for the next month.
