3. Different Opponent, Different Result
For the past couple months, weve seen Sheamus and Randy Orton lock up multiple times in the ring, either in singles matches or tag team bouts. The never-ending parade of matches between the two generated a very strong reaction from the fans one of boredom. Despite both men being solid performers and entertaining characters, they just seem to cancel each other out. Now, change things up Monday night and insert John Cena against Sheamus, and we suddenly had a match where fans were hanging on every move, and Sheamus looked like a serious threat. Sure, Cena as usual pulled out the victory, but it at least was a good match that had good crowd reactions. If youre going to put on a 10-plus-minute match, at least make it entertaining for the fans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwgYD1z0iug Hopefully, this doesnt mean were going to see Cena/Sheamus 10 times in the next three months.
