When Sasha Banks came out to address the crowd, you had to have a little doubt in your head. Banks is supposed to be out for a month, but her hard-charging style in the ring could have taken more of a toll than initially realized.

Sasha weaved a nice tapestry on the mic, tracing the evolution of women’s wrestling, working in a jab against bra & panties matches and “that stupid butterfly” belt. When she started talking about herself and tearing up, you wanted to assume she was just faking it, but wouldn’t be surprised if she was announcing a long layoff due to injury.

Fortunately, she never got to make that announcement, because Dana Brooke came out, which immediately clued everyone in. So when Dana got hit with a Banks Statement and laid out, it was more of a formality than a surprise that Sasha is on the mend. Nice stuff, but it does create a problem with Bayley defeating Charlotte fairly cleanly on Monday.
