Just to be clear, Summer Rae hasnt renounced her American citizenship via Twitter, has she? WWE runs minor angles through social media so often these days that its easy to miss small developments in a storyline even if you sit through all of Raw and SmackDown each week. Assuming that Summer still hails from Raleigh, North Carolina, why was she so put off by the crowd Monday night chanting U.S.A! at Rusev? Hes from Bulgaria and carries his countrys flag to the ring, so of course hes going to generate some heat from the crowd. But Summer, who has chosen to hitch her wagon to Rusev and even dress as a Lana knock-off, seemed more affected by the chants than Rusev did. Summer, youre a U.S. resident yourself, so deal with it. Acting offended just looks dumb, unless youre defecting.
Scott is a former journalist and longtime wrestling fan who was smart enough to abandon WCW during the Monday Night Wars the same time as the Radicalz. He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV.
