Even though John Cena has turned in a better performance than usual in his feud with Kevin Owens, its pretty clear that Owens is in another league right now. Unlike Cena, who played to the people who boo and cheer him and at times cant seem to control the volume of his voice, Owens spoke directly and evenly about how he doesnt care what anyone thinks of him. Owens also laid it out very simply: Hes here to win titles. He even went so far as to appeal to the jingoistic nature of wrestling fans, speaking French so they would cheer the mighty John Cena and boo the evil foreigner. Considering how Cena fought evil Russian sympathizer Rusev at four straight PPVs this spring, thats actually a pretty neat fourth wall moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNov9MI5RSY It was great to see Owens simply deliver on the mic, showing that hes got the total package. And while Cena is the veteran who is stepping up his game, Owens is just on fire right now.

He fortunately became a fan in time for WrestleMania III and came back as a fan after a long high school hiatus before WM XIV. Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
