7 Ups And 9 Downs From WWE Raw (Jan 20)

6. Black Not Forgotten

Just to remind everyone, Aleister Black cleanly won his feud with Buddy Murphy, 3-0.

The reason to bring this up is that Buddy went on to immediately join Seth Rollins’ main event stable, while Black came out to face a jobber Monday night.

However, we will give positive marks because of the lights-out performance, with Aleister hitting Black Mass about 3 seconds into the match, winning in convincing fashion. Also, at least the writers didn’t forget Black existed.

Now, to keep The Dutch Destroyer in the “ups” column, we should start seeing some forward momentum in light of his victory in the Murphy feud. Maybe he could even stand with Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe to oppose Rollins’ stable since Buddy is now part of it.
