Oh come on.

Unless this is paying off with Ricochet somehow eliminating Brock Lesnar from the Royal Rumble, Monday’s little confrontation with the WWE Champion just made Ricochet look like a geek.

Ricochet came out after Paul Heyman had droned on for a while and informed Brock that most of the locker room was scared of being in the ring alone with him at the Royal Rumble. He told them he wasn’t afraid, and challenged Lesnar to a fight. When Brock left, Ricochet goaded him back in by asking if he was scared.

That brought Brock back, and he quickly kicked Ricochet low and declared he wasn’t scared, then walked off. And that was it.

If Ricochet had said he was volunteering to enter #2 or just left it at, “I’ll see you in the ring Sunday,” it would have been a nice moment for him. Instead, he looked like an idiot for goading Lesnar, then being completely unprepared for him to strike.

What a chump.
